Since 2005 Tanzed has been identifying and selecting eligible pupils for secondary scholarships. Eligibility depends on the child’s economic situation at home, their academic ability and their aptitude for learning.

Sixty pupils have been sponsored so far through this programme and parents, teachers, education officials and pupils express their appreciation for the project.

A number of students are writing letters to establish correspondence with their sponsors via Tanzed UK and in the process improving their writing skills.

Tanzed is still looking for sponsors in the UK for many of our pupils and will need to find more if we are to take on more children next year. At the moment a number of the children are

being supported by Tanzed core costs.
