TANZED VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME

We are currently in the process of reviewing our volunteer programme but we are always pleased to hear from anyone interested in volunteering. At certain times we send volunteers to work alongside Tanzanian teachers in the Government Primary Schools in the Morogoro region of Tanzania. If you are a teacher able to commit to an extended period in Tanzania to work alongside Tanzanian teachers assisting with training in child centred learning, use of resources, teaching English, assisting in the nursery classes or working in our learning centres, send your CV to our Tanzed UK correspondence address or e-mail us at tanzeduk@yahoo.co.uk

We are also interested to hear from anyone who might like to volunteer to work with us in the UK. We are currently looking for someone to manage our fundraising activities. This would involve organising the Sandstone Trail Challenge in May and the Three Peaks Challenge in July and any other events throughout the year. If you have a few hours a week spare and an interest in education and development work, we would like to hear from you. E-mail is best as our office is not manned all the time.
